About the Program
Crisis leadership – Disaster management – Building Resilience
This course is intended to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to lead in a rapidly changing crisis environment. You will be challenged to explore various leadership styles and leadership models essential in a crisis and disaster situation. You will learn to lead, take responsibility, and be accountable for the teams and the organisational output.
You will gain significant knowledge and experience so that you can work effectively in emergency management leadership roles in a variety of settings. To do this, you will:

Undertake research into crisis and disaster.

Communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Plan, implement audit and lead programs.

Problem solve and make high-level judgements about organisational and community needs during all phases of a crisis cycle.
